Practical use of knowledge of health examination exercises at elementary and junior high schools: One-year undergraduate special course for Yogo teachers

This study was undertaken to investigate the practical use of the existing knowledge in a city medical examination exercise. For 26 undergraduate students of a special course for Yogo teachers of A university, an investigation was conducted using the Web Class e·Learning system with distribution and collection of questionnaire survey forms after the end of a practical health examination exercises. The practical health examination exercise was conducted in order of a trial lesson related to a medical examination, a practical health examination exercise at attached elementary and junior high schools, and a city practical health examination exercise. Of the respondents, 24 (92.3%) stated that the city practical health examination exercise at elementary and junior high schools was good. Regarding the city practical health examination exercise, many respondents stated "I have used" related knowledge and that trial lesson contents of the attached school exercise "were useful." The contents of the existing knowledge were Guvenile student understanding, instruction], [coordination of a medical checkup], and [applied practical usel. Results suggest that existing knowledge is used in city practical health examination exercises. Constituting a lesson in order of a trial lesson, an attached practical health examination exercise, and a city practical health examination can support a student's practical power and cumulative capability.
