          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">本研究は，肝細胞癌に対するラジオ波焼灼療法(RFA)と併用する樹状細胞(DC)療法の際にケモカイン製剤を投与することにより抗腫瘍免疫を増強し，二次発がんを抑制する治療法を開発することを目標とする．C型慢性肝炎患者由来のDCの細胞免疫学的特徴を解明し，種々の刺激誘導法を検討したところ，OK-432 添加刺激が抗原提示能，免疫賦活作用を著明に向上させたことが明らかになった．この刺激誘導培養法を用いたDCをRFA施行時に経皮的に癌組織へ注入する安全性臨床試験を開始した．OK-432 添加刺激を加えたDC併用RFAは有意に無再発生存期間を延長することが示された．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">The aim of this study is development of secondary prevention for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by enhancement of anti-tumor immunity stimulated by chemokine agents in radiofrequency ablation (RFA) therapy with dendritic cell (DC) injection into HCC. We analyzed cellular immune response of DC and various method of introduction of DC. We revealed that stimulation of OK-432 enhances antigen presentation activity and immunopotentiative action. We started clinical trial of OK-432 stimulated DC injection into HCC after RFA therapy. Progression free survival in the group treated with RFA + OK432 stimulated DC transfer was much better.</datacite:description>
