英語の聴き取りに見られる傾向と習熟度に関する考察（II） English Learners’ Transcription Patterns as a Measure of Proficiency (II) 數見, 由紀子 694 40283147 40283147 This study focuses on English learners’ transcription of sentence parts that could pose difficulties to learners. Utilizing the methods introduced in Kazumi (2014), this study examines a new set of data from a different class of students. The results are consistent with those in Kazumi (2014) and support the hypothesis that the ability to hear phonetically weak parts of a sentence such as function words and word-initial weak syllables reflects the students’ overall proficiency levels.
