Recently, we have been using much slag cement for the construction of ocean concrete structures. Polymer is mixed into slag cement concrete to improve its physical properties. In this paper, we report a few results of the experiments carried out to clarify the characteristics of polymer slag cement concrete using polypropylene polymer emulsion. The major results obtained are as follows ; (1) The polymer slag cement concrete using polypropylene polymer emulsion has a great water-reducing effect, as ordinary portland cement concrete with the polymer emulsion does.
