Following these comments two kinds of consolidation tests were carried out using triaxial apparatus. In one test, there is no lateral deformation of a specimen (Kₒᵣ-test) and in the other test （Kₒₐ-test), there is no axial deformation of a specimen. After consolidation, shear tests (axially compression test) on some specimens were performed.
