| 内容記述 | This paper is a report of considerations on the qualities of compacted soil-cement mixtures in early age period; refer to the possibility of immediate traffic opening on the soilcement base course. The experiments were performed as follows. i) Two soils were used in the tests : (1) a well graded silty sand (A-2-4), (2) a plastic clay (A-7-5) ii) Unconfined compression tests were made on 2 in diameter by 4 in high Cylindrical specimens molded at the optimum moisture content with various amounts of cement added. iii) Evaluation of durability was made either from the reduction in strength after weathering cycles or by measuring the weight loss of loose material from the specimen. (12 alternations of wetting and drying, and 14 alternations of freezing and thawing.) Results of this experiment reveal that the qualities of compacted soil-cement mixtures in early age period have two different stages. |
