| 内容記述 | The numerical values of transport properties of air readily available have usually been measured at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, and when values at high temperatures and high pressures are needed they must be calculated by special methods, e.g. by the thermo dynamical rule or the principle of corresponding state. The writers deduced the density, specific heat, viscosity, and thermal conductivity of air at temperatures ranging from 0° to 460°C and pressures up to 200 atmospheres, employing two or three methods for each property, and comparing the results came to the conclusion that the following methods gave values supposed to be nearest the true values : Tanishita's method for the density ; Tanishita's method modified by the thermodynamic rule for the specific heat ; Sutherland's method appropriately extended for the viscosity ; and Coming's diagram for the thermal conductivity. The functionality of these values with temperature and prersure is shown in figs. 1, 2, 4, and 5. These calculated values were employed in the writers' study of "the Mean Effective Thermal Conductivity on Packed Beds at High Pressures ." |
