| 内容記述 | 漢薬「蟾酥」は, ヒキガエル科(Bufonidae)のシナヒキガエルBufo bufo gargarizans Cantor又はBufo melanostictus Schneiderの毒腺分泌物を集めたものである2). 古来, 強心, 鎮痛, 解毒薬として, 小児の五疳, 歯牙出血, 悪腫, 喉痺, 心臓疾患などに応用される家庭薬に多く配合されてきた3). 原産国は中国で, わが国ではすべて輸入品に依存している. 強心性のあるブフォステロイドを特徴的に含有し, 「第十三改正日本薬局方』では「本品を乾燥したものは, ブフォステロイドとして5.8%以上を含む」と規定し, ブフォステロイドの3成分, bufalin, cinobufagin, resibufogeninについてHPLC法による成分含量測定法を記載している. これらの成分は極めて毒性が高いため, 蟾酥は毒薬指定され, 使用に際してその使用量に厳格な注意が必要であるが, これまで品質のバラツキに関する詳細な検討はない. Toad Venom, a Chinese crude drug derived from toads grease that contains bufosteroids, is so poisonous that strict attention must be paid for medical use. Quantitative analysis of bufosteroids of 151 commercial samples clarified that their bufosteroids contents ranged from 1.316 to 11.345 %, and that each lump was chemically homogeneous. The color of the concentrated sulfic acid solution of Toad Venom measured by a colorimeter showed that all the samples with the b* value in CIE 1976 L*a*b* color system of more than 37 conformed to the regulation of JP-XIII, and then bufosteroids contents were 5.8 % or more. | |||||
