| 内容記述 | The Chinese crude drug "Cebaiye" (側柏葉) was first reported in "Tou quin ben cao" (図経本草) written in the Song (宋) dynasty of China as a special grade of "Baiye" (柏葉), which was described in "Min yi bie ru" (名医別録) in the Nan bei zhao (南北朝) dynasty of China as a remedy for various bleedings and arthralgia caused by wetness-evil. The historical correct botanical origin of "Cebaiye" is assumed to be Thuja orientalis L. of Cupressaceae from the figure written on "Tou qing ben cao." Thuja orientalis and another three Cupressaceae plants that have similar branches to Thuja orientalis on account of having scalelike leaves are examined comparative anatomically to clarify the botanical origin of "Cebaiye" in the recent Japanese, Continental Chinese, Korean and Taiwan markets. To the results, most of "Cebaiye" were derived from the small branches with scalelike leaves of Thuja orientalis L. Besides, "Cebaiye" from Japan was that of Chamaecyparis obtusa (Sieb. et ZUCC.) ENDLE. Moreover, "Cebaiye" from south of China consisting of unknown species was confirmed and another unknown species was mixed with some of "Cebaiye" from Continental China and Taiwan. Botanical origins of these crude drugs will be reported in another paper.「側柏葉」の名称は『薬性論』に初見され, 『図経本草』2）に効果のすぐれた「柏葉」の一種として記載されている. 「柏葉」は『名医別録』の「柏実」の項にその名が見られ, 古くから主として関節痛や各種出血の治療に用いられてきた漢薬である. 側柏葉の本草正品は『図経本草』に「其葉皆側向」とある記文およびその付図からヒノキ科のThuja orientalis L. （=Biota orientalis(L. )ENDL. ）コノテガシワであると思われ, 『中薬志』4）や『中華人民共和国薬典』5）, 『薬材学』6）などにも本種の葉および小枝であると記されている. ところが, 現在市販されている中国, 台湾, 韓国および日木炭側柏葉を入手したところ, Thuja属植物とは外形がよく似ているが, やや異なった商品も認められた. Thuja属植物には他の近縁植物をも含めて形態が類似した種が多い. そこで今回, 入手した商品の基源を明らかにする目的で, 商品と形態が類似するヒノキ科植物4種を比較組織学的に検討した. 実験の部 1. 材料（1）生薬材料 中国産「側柏葉」:大阪市, 栃木天海堂からの入手品（1975年, 1981年）;中国, 昆明市場品（1980年）;同, 北京 市場品（1977年）台湾産「側柏葉」:台湾, 台北市, 春元行からの入手品（1974年）;同, 台北市場品（扁柏葉, 1975年）;同, 嘉義 市場品（扁柏, 1968年）;同, 台東市, 賜安堂からの人手品（扁柏, 1979年）韓国産「側柏葉」:大韓民国, 太邸市, 世和堂漢薬房からの入手品（1971年）;同, 太邸市場品（1973年）日本産「側柏葉」:大阪市, 栃木天海堂からの入手品（1969年） | |||||
