In this condition, CF-G was hydrolyzed more easily than CF-S. The rate of the hydrolysis, pseudo-first order reaction, was in parallel with the stability constants of 8-quinolinol-metal complexes. The rate of hydrolysis increased with reduction of concentration of H+ and tris buffer suppressed the hydrolysis of CF-G. These results suggest that metal catalyzed hydrolysis of CF-G and CF-S was derived from the formation of complexes between the conjugates and metal ions.}, pages = {1411--1413}, title = {Hydrolysis of 5-Chloro-7-iodo-8-quinolinol Conjugates catalyzed by Metal Ions}, volume = {24}, year = {1976} }
