The same tendency was also observed for 5-chloro-7-iodo-8HQ (C)-Fe (III) chelate system. The activity of 8HQ-Fe (III) system in lipoperoxidation was the highest at [8HQ]:[Fe (III)]=1: 1. In quinoline derivatives, the ligands which have 8-hydroxyl group and high solubility in lipid were necessary for lipoperoxidation in plasma by Fe (III) chelate systems.
