The radial bearing section of this system makes good use of repulsive force between rotor and stator permanent magnets. This system eliminates the radial controllers by the suitable arrangement of these permanent magnets, therefore the simplified magnetic bearing system can be realized. It is possible to apply it fly-wheel energy storage and uninterrupted power supply. The paper deals with the configuration of a new type magnetic bearing system based on the measurement of repulsive force and the FEM analysis of permanent magnet structure.
