About 85% of the first year students and some second and third year students have taken part in the survey. The survey was about self-assessed levels of students’ English language skills, their assessments on the level of the English courses they were taking, and the levels of English Language ability they wish to attain in the future. The participants used CEFR Can-Do description table (Kanazawa University version), in order to assess levels of individual language skills. The result shows that the highest percentages of students assess their language abilities as B1 in CEFR scale in most skill areas except that of participating in conversation. The result also shows that different students assess the same course quite differently. It also shows that about half of the students wish to attain B2 level, and about one fifth to one third of students wish to attain C1 (or higher) level in English, depending on the skill area.}, pages = {63--77}, title = {CEFR を使った英語力および授業に関する学生アンケート : 金沢大学のアンケート結果より}, volume = {6}, year = {2012} }
