| 内容記述 | Students who majored in foreign languages at Russia’s high education establishments are able to achieve a relatively high level. The same can be said about Japanese language Department of the Faculty of Oriental languages, Far Eastern State Humanities University, which the author has graduated. In this report the author researched the background of such results in studying Japanese at Russia’s high education establishments, taking the Japanese language department of the above university as an example. First, the author states that the features that give learning effectiveness are 1. starting specialization studies from the first year of learning and much time for studies 2. state exam as a graduation exam. The author points out the characteristic features of the Japanese language department of the above university. These include not only the small group system and much time for studying, but also an attitude of Russians towards learning Japanese language. These features positively affect the learning process. Thus, it is believed that both lecturers and students prefer high level content, and that students are eager to use the language perfectly and freely, which brings high results. Four problem points of the same Japanese language department are pointed out, including lack of curriculum maintenance and grammar-translational method as a major teaching method. | |||||
