As a result, hydroxylated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (OHPAH) provided causing death in early embryogenesis of the medaka, and OHPAH influenced the cell activities in fish scales. We suggested that the main substances of poison causing deformity of the fish are OHPAHs.
