 note = {We performed a left ventricular aneurysmectomy for a left ventricular aneurysm associated with acromegaly in a 62-year-old man. Bromocriptine mesilate was administered to suppress high growth hormone (GH) levels, and there were no complications during or after the operation. The majority of patients with acromegaly die of cardiovascular diseases such as cardiomegaly, hypertension, arteriosclerosis of the coronary arteries, congestive heart failure, valvular disease, and arrhythmia. Ventricular aneurysm is a rare complication of acromegaly.
