We explore urine fatty acid metabolic substance as a biomarker for autism spectrum disorder. In 32 ASD children and 24 typically developing(TD) young children(3-7 years old), 7 fatty acid metabolic substances(i. e., myristic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, arachidic acid, behenic acid) in urine were quantified using gas chromatography. mass spectrometry. As a result, there were no significant differences in these concentrations between ASD and TD children.
