Glucoraphanin increased uncoupling protein-1 (Ucp-1) protein levels in subcutaneous adipose depots, thereby increased energy expenditure. In addition, glucoraphanin suppressed Desulfovibrionaceae in gut microbiomes of HFD-fed mice, and decreased plasma lipopolysaccharide levels.
