| 内容記述 | 研究期間を通じて、福岡県宗像市鐘崎から移住し、閉鎖的な社会を保ってきた輪島市海士町の「言語の島」の様子について、海士町のルーツ問題、アスペクト形式「ヨル」、語末母音と助詞の母音融合、アクセント体系、人称詞等について、考察を行った。移住と言語の関係について、ルーツの側の言語がどんどん変化していく一方で、移住先の言語がむしろ古形を保存する興味深い現象が見られた。その一方で能登方言の特徴を取り込みながら、閉鎖的な社会の中で独自の変化を遂げた特徴の存在も明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Residents of Ama-machi in Wajima City are said to immigrate from Kanezaki in northern Kyushu in the late 16th century. Their dialect is different in many ways from the dialects of the surrounding Noto area, and is attractive to linguists as a subject of studies on the relation between language changes and its settlement. This dialect shows some common characteristics to one of northern Kyushu which is the putative homeland of the residents. This survey reveals the manifestations of the ‘island of language’ of Ama-machi with regard to the issue on their homeland, the aspectual form 'yoru', the vowel coalescences, the accent system, and the pronoun of this dialect. | |||||
