| 内容記述 | 当初の目的に沿って、ジェンダー統計論の視覚を基礎に置きながら、一定程度進めることができた。(1)男女間賃金格差の検討では、要因分解手法の内在的限界を提示し、より正確な分析結果を導き出すことに貢献できた。(2)収入構造および夫妻の収入比率の日英比較では、日英のミクロデータを使い、先行研究の弱点・不足点を克服して、労働市場および世帯においてジェンダー平等が、日本よりイギリスで進んでいることを確認した。さらに低所得層における男女格差の分析を進めた。(3)男女の賃金/収入に関する政府統計の調査票や集計方法等の改善すべき点を明らかにした。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This project could satisfy the initial research objectives, to some degree, using the gender statistics.(1) An examination of gender wage differentials reveals inherent limitations in the Blinder-Oaxaca Decomposition Technique, which should contribute more accurate calculation of gender discrimination in the labour market.(2) An examination of income composition and ratio of income sharing between wife and husband shows that Britain was some steps ahead of Japan in gender equality in both labour markets and households, by using the individual data of Japan and Britain.(3) Some improvements need to be done in terms of questionnaire and multi-cross tabulation of government statistics on wages/income, for better gender analysis. | |||||
