| 内容記述 | 本研究は、ケーススタディに基づいて、考古学と文化資源の生産の多様性を研究する多面的な手法を発展させることにある。初めに、考古学の教育と研修についてである。次に、考古学調査の実践がある。最後に、考古学知識の解釈と活用がある。ケーススタディは石川県雨の宮古墳、岩手県御所野遺跡、奈良文化財研究で調査した。考古学が内在する多様性に着目し、文化資源生産のモデルを開発した。第一に、解釈の多様性は、オーサー、オーディエンスと解釈の場面の多様性に注目した。第二に、参加者の多様性は、文化遺産活動に参加するアクターとネットワークの多様性にある。最後に、情報の多様性は、データの非整合性に関する理解の多様性である。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This project developed a multifaceted approach to the study of diversity in archaeology and cultural resource production focusing on case studies in Japan. Three main themes were: 1) the education and training; 2) the practices of archaeological investigation; and 3) the interpretation and utilization of archaeological knowledge. Case studies examined archaeological research and heritage utilization at Amenomiya Kofun in Ishikawa Prefecture, Goshono Site in Iwate Prefecture, and Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties. The model of diversity developed includes Interpretative Diversity (the complex relationship between authorship, audience, and setting); Participatory Diversity (the network of actors engaged in cultural heritage activities); and Data Diversity (the challenges relating to incommensurability of data). The results of this research include several published papers, an edited book, and presentations at domestic and international conferences. | |||||
