| 内容記述 | 本研究では、中世、ビザンツ帝国に成立した軍事聖者崇敬が周辺のスラヴ・東欧世界に伝播し、その地に定着し、独自の発展をしてゆく過程を分析し、地域ごとに生まれた特性を比較、検証した。特に注目したのは、テサロニケの聖デメトリオス信仰がブルガリア、セルビアで受容されるプロセスである。こうした課題を究明するため、文献調査と並んで、両国の教会や修道院などに残さされた壁画などの現地調査も実施し、それらの地域でビザンツに由来する軍事聖者が現地の守護聖人として定着してゆく過程が確認された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, the process in which military saints’ veneration established in Byzantine Empire in the Middle Ages was spread in the neighboring Slavs-Eastern World, settled in those countries and developed in original evolution was analyzed and the characteristics born in each area were compared and inspected. We payed special attention the process by which St. Demetrios of Thessalonike cult was accepted at Bulgaria and Serbia. To study such a problem, along with documents investigation, we carried out the field works on the frescos of churches and the monasteries in the two countries and confirmed the process by which a military saint from Byzantium was settling as a local patron saint in those areas. | |||||
