The Outer Ring Road of Kanazawa conurbation area also planned and its mountainside part was constructed and used by the public from April 2006. This paper analyses the change of traffic volume transformation and roadside built-up area based on surveys of traffic flows and other statistics as results of the construction of Ring Road. As results of this study, it is clarified that a certain volume of the traffic volume are transformed from the central area to the ring road, and the traffic jam and the traffic accident are decreased.
