| 内容記述 | 21世紀現在、西アフリカでは、通貨統合の方法をめぐって大きな議論が巻き起こっている。この背景には、旧宗主国フランスが、支配地域に導入した貨幣・金融制度の体系をを植民地後も、引き継いだことがある。このことが、西アフリカ全体での通貨統合の障害となっている。本研究では、21世紀になって新たに表面化したさまざまな対立とその背景を明らかにした。次に、旧英領諸国に導入された制度と比較しながら旧仏領西アフリカ諸国に導入された制度形成過程について調査をした。ただし、後者については金融のみならず植民地財政や郵便事業なども含めて検証する必要があることが判明した。後者については、継続する科研費研究で再調査を行う。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In these days, the methodologies to realize the monetary integration in the ECOWAS region becomes a significant issue. Behind it lies that Francophone West African countries except for Guinea largely inherited the financial system that France introduced in the colonial era. Notably, the "compte d'operation" opened at the French Treasury, which was imperative to pegg the CFA franc to the Euro, becomes an obstacle to forming a more extensive monetary integration, including the former British and Portuguese countries. First, this study uncovered the various conflicts over the monetary integration in the ECOWAS region. Next, this research tried to investigate the historical backgrounds of the "compte d'operation" and also reviewed the British system to compare it. However, it turned out that we need further investigation of the French fiscal system itself to obtain effective research outcomes. We will reexamine it by the ongoing Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research. | |||||
