The magnetic fluid was attached to the cell line 211H, the solution after 24 hours was centrifuged, and the Fe content of each of the supernatant and the cells was measured by ICP-MS methods. The uptake of Fe was confirmed in the cellular components. A small-sized heater for small animals, such as mouse, rat was created. Using this, a heating experiment of a small animals (nude mouse: 250g) was performed. The 1ml magnetic fluid was injected into abdomen subcutaneously. A temperature rise of 42-43℃ was obtained in 2 to 5 minutes. The experiment was conducted on 5 animals and survival was confirmed after heating in all cases. No obvious adverse events such as skin burns were identified.
