| 内容記述 | 「情報の発信者」としてNPO（非営利組織）を捉える本研究では、利用されている媒体（ウェブサイト、ニューズレター、Eメールなど）を体系的に把握すると同時に、発信されている内容と、これらがNPOの活動やマネージメントに及ぼす影響を検証した。近年その可能性が注目を集めているソーシャルメディア（FacebookやTwitterなど）に着目した分析では、これらを通じて情報を発信しているNPOの方が、結果として集めた寄付額が多くなっていることを実証的に明らかにした。また、ソーシャルメディアを通じた情報発信は、個人が同一団体に複数回寄付を行う行動を一定程度促す作用があることも明らかとなった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This research understands nonprofit organizations not as service providers but as those sending out information to the society. The project sheds light to both the media used (such as websites, newsletters, and Emails) as well as contents of information that nonprofits send out. In addition to documenting how nonprofits in Japan transmit information to the public, the study examined its impact on nonprofits' performance and operations. In series of analyses that focused on social media, the study found nonprofits that sent out information via Facebook and/or Twitter collected larger amount of donations than those that did not, and that using social media encouraged individuals to give again to the same nonprofit. | |||||
