 note = {ボッテーロの著作『国家理性論』の翻訳・注解を刊行した。その解説文や『社会文化史学』及び『エクフラシス』掲載予定の論文執筆により、ボッテーロの西洋政治思想史における位置につき展望を得るに至った。これと並び我が国内外においてボッテーロの思想に関する口頭発表を行ったが、これらについても今後論考として公刊予定である。加えてマキアヴェッリからボッテーロを経て、ホッブスに至国家理性論思想の展開の考究を主題に、イタリアよりフイレンツェ大学教授Daniela Coli氏を招聘し、早稲田大学と関西大学にて講演会を実施した。また国家理性論の近代日本の文化への継受を主題とする論考を執筆した。, I translated in English Botero's Ragion di Stato. This translation was published as Japanese version of Ragion di Stato. Then I published some articles which considered his position in the history of Western political thought using the translation. At the same time, I made some presentations of about Botero in Japanese, English and Spanish. I’m preparing to publish them . I invited from Prof. Daniela Colì of Florence Univ. to realize symposiums concerning to the Italian tradition of Ragion di Stato from Machiavelli .
On these works, I found the fundamental character of Botero’s Ragion di Stato as the emergency means which is in contrast with Machiavelli’s Arte dello Stato as the arcana of sovereign. Machiavelli tried create the supreme political power concentrated in the hand of monarch to construct the political order.
