A digital museum was established here in 2015 under Japanese cooperation. The main theme of the digital museum is the history of the community of Copan Ruinas from ancient times to the present. While other museums at Copan Ruinas are managed by the Honduran Institute of Anthropology and History( IHAH) -which is a national organization of the country-, the digital museum is co-managed between the municipality of Copan Ruinas and IHAH in which community’s idea plays a positive role in the installment and management of the exhibition. Kanazawa University’s liaison office at Copan Ruinas -set in 2017- has cooperated with the exhibition of this museum through the students’ overseas internship program. The digital museum at Copan Ruinas serves as a place of cultural exchange between the students and the people of the community. It also serves as a good place of practice for the research on museums and the community.}, pages = {23--32}, title = {世界遺産があるコミュニティと博物館-ホンジュラスのコパンルイナスの事例より-}, year = {2019} }
