ROS inducing agent, such as curcumin, has been reported to alter lysosome localization in a cancer cell. We found that JSAP, a family of motor protein adaptors, is involved in lysosome transport in response to curcumin. We also clarified the relationship between JSAP-mediated lysosome transport and curcumin-induced cell death in cancer.
