Single cell RNA sequencing following clustering analysis revealed that there are at least 2 clusters: proliferating cell cluster and non-proliferating cell cluster. We found a membrane protein FXYD3 among the highly expressing genes in the latter cell cluster and demonstrate that expression of FXYD3 is useful for distinguish the 2 populations.
