 note = {In this article, we looks back on the student's exhibition “Monologue: The Turbulent Story of Materials,” at Kanazawa University （16/11/2018-19/01/2019） and evaluated by the students who actually participated in this exhibition program. Sugawara and Kawai introduce this article, presenting the background of the special exhibition by the students of Kanazawa University as a part of the class “Museum Training” and the overview of the class schedule. Matsushita discusses the ideas of this exhibition in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, Sakurai shows the selection and research of the materials, and in Chapter 4, Fujimoto focuses on the display of the exhibition. In Chapter 5, Okada looks back on educational activities, such as gallery talks and workshops on the Nihon Makyo. Finally, Kasahara, who cooperated as a curator of Kanazawa University Museum, considers the significance of a special exhibition conducted by students in the university museum.},
