 note = {Kanazawa University Museum has held 9 exhibitions such as the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions and outreach exhibitions during April, 2018 to March, 2019 and the number of visitors to University Museum exhibition room was 8,308 which is the second record of the museum. Especially, in the special exhibition “Natural history of stone”, the University Museum presented many precious mineral specimens of Kanazawa University and beautiful jade specimens borrowed from the Fossa Magna Museum of Itoigawa city, Japan. Jade was selected as Japanese national stone in 2016. This exhibition garnered good reviews and 1,415 visitors. The outreach exhibition “Art or Science, the Specific Instrument Collection of the Fourth Higher School” was held at the Intermediateque Tokyo, with cooperation of the museum, the university of Tokyo and the Ishikawa museum of natural history. This exhibition was first challenge in Tokyo. I hope to hold another outreach exhibition in the other cities.
On the other hand, the University Museum also has many archives of histories for many former schools such as the Fourth Higher School and official documents of Kanazawa University and gives their reference activities. The number of documents was 11,000 in 2018. The University Museum offered references of 26 document in 2018. The continuous construction of archives is also important as exhibitions for the University Museum.
 The Museum staffs has attended to the meetings for Japanese university museum council and the conference of the society of Japanese museum sciences at Kagawa University.},
