| 内容記述 | Because glaucoma is common disease which cause blindness at late stage, the early detection is very important. However, a lack of symptoms in early stage can delay having a medical examination. Also, early glaucoma may be missed during conventional qualitative diagnosis by fundus photograph. We devised useful indicators to detect preperimetric glaucoma focusing on ‘asymmetry’ which is one of features of glaucoma pathology using optical coherence tomography, and published a paper about it after domestic and oversea academic conferences presentations. As a new development, we did a presentation on domestical academic conference about increasing detective ability of early glaucoma even further to use different indices depending on situation where glaucoma finding express on fundus. We are pushing the work forward to publish a paper. |

| 内容記述 | 緑内障は進行すると最終的には失明に至りうる比較的有病率の高い疾患であり早期発見が極めて重要であるが、早期の段階では自覚症状が乏しく受診が遅れたり、従来からの眼底写真による定性的な検査では見逃されることがある。光干渉断層計を用いて、緑内障病理の特色のひとつといえる「上下非対称性」に着目し、早期発見に有用な指標を考案し、国内外の学会発表を経て論文化しその成果を発表した。 また新たな展開として、緑内障所見の表出部位によって分類し、指標を使い分けることで、更に検出能を高めることが出来ることを国内学会にて発表した。この成果についても論文化を現在すすめている。 |
