| 内容記述 | 本研究はまず、異質性のある既存企業が破壊的イノベーションを実施するモデルを構築して、既存企業への研究補助、新規企業への研究補助、特許期間延長といった政策がイノベーションや経済成長率に与える影響について分析を行った。本モデルでは、①既存企業の規模と破壊的イノベーションへ誘因が負の相関になる、②既存企業への研究補助が経済成長率を引き下げる場合がある、③総人口と総イノベーションが負の相関になる場合がある、といった基本的なR&Dベースの内生成長理論では導出できないような興味深い結果を得て、DP刊行まで進めることが出来た。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this project, I constructed a model where heterogeneous incumbents conduct disruptive innovation. Then, we examine the effects of policies such as a subsidy for innovation by incumbents, a subsidy for innovation by entrants, and the extension of patent length. In this model, I obtained interesting results which are not derived in basic endogenous growth model based on the R&D activity, for example, the scale of incumbents and incentive for disruptive innovation is a negative relationship, there is a case where subsidy for entrants decreases the growth rate, there is a case where population size and aggregate innovation is a negative relationship. I released this research as "Disruptive Innovation by Heterogeneous Incumbents and Economic Growth: When do incumbents switch to new technology?". | |||||
