A further investigation was made about the ways they managed academic participation and job hunting activities back in their home university in Japan and then socialized themselves into their professions after graduating from a university. The findings suggest that students’ development of academic literacy, intercultural competence, and identities enables them to evaluate various linguistic and cultural contact phenomena critically and deal with them constructively.
