We abstracted similarities and differences among affirmative, negative and surplus valuations on the evaluating concept of communicative behavior between Japanese and Chinese. We studied the characteristics of evaluating vocabularies between Japanese and Chinese, as well as the cultural features considering behavior about personal relations. In addition, we conducted opinion polls of the evaluating concept among university students and citizens of Japan and China.
