| 内容記述 | 本研究では途上国の知的財産保護水準の強化が研究開発や技術移転に与える効果を分析した。その結果,途上国による知的財産保護の強化が先進国企業による直接投資を促進する一方で,途上国の社会資本整備が十分でない場合には先進国による技術開発を遅らせることが示された。また途上国の知的財産保護水準は過小になりやすく,途上国と先進国の経済構造が大きく異なるとき,知的財産保護政策の国際的協調は必ずしも望ましくないことが示された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | I examined how strengthening of intellectual property rights (IPRs) in less developed countries affects innovation and technology diffusion. As a consequence, I found that strengthening of IPRs in less developed countries promotes FDI. On the other hand, it reduces the rate of innovation when social infrastructure in those countries is not sufficient. I also found that IPRs policy in less development countries becomes weaker than their optimal levels and that international harmonization of IPRs is not efficient when institutional structure of the developed countries and the less developed countries is greatly different. | |||||
