In this study, we demonstrated that increased HDL-TG/HDL-PL ratio was significantly associated with many cardiovascular risk factors. This index was strongly correlated with diabetes and chronic kidney disease, and may represent functional abnormalities of HDL.\nPlasma cholesteryl-ester transfer protein (CETP) mass showed positive correlation with HDL-TG/HDL-PL ratio.
