| 内容記述 | 近代国文学始発期に重要な足跡を残した藤岡作太郎の日記解読が本研究の主要な目的である。明治38年～明治43年2月の彼の死に至るまでの日記については解読を終え、注を付して公刊した。現在、明治32年日記後半部の解読をすすめている。この日記に付されたメモにより日記執筆時の具体的な手順などを知ることができた。 藤岡の編纂した中等学校向け国語教科書の検討を通して、明治期の国語教育における「文語」の位置について新しい知見を得ることができた。また、『李花亭蔵書目録』を翻刻して、彼の蔵書形成のプロセスを明らかにし、さらに、石川県立図書館に寄託されている現在の蔵書とつきあわせた。 |

| 内容記述 | This research is an interpretive study of the diary of Fujioka Sakutaro (1870-1910), a figure who left important traces in the field of Japanese National Literature. I have published, with annotation and interpretation, the entries dating from 1905 to Fujioka's death in February 1910. Presently, I am working on the entries of the latter half of 1899. Through the memos attached to the entries, as well as my transcription, it is possible to grasp concretely the process by which the entries were penned. Also, by examining the national language textbook he edited, I could come to a better understanding of the position of "classical language" within the Meiji education system. Furthermore, with my transcription of the Rikatei Collection Catalogue written by Fujioka himself, we can now analyze how he structured his own library and compare this record with the collection at Ishikawa Prefectural Library. My work thus allows us to rediscover his importance in Japan's literary modernization. |
