| 内容記述 | 本研究では、日本の競争政策におけるエンフォースメントがカルテルや談合および公正取引委員会の探索費用に対して与えた影響について分析を行った。分析に際して、2005年の独占禁止法改正による課徴金の算定率の引き上げおよび課徴金減免制度の導入を自然実験として用いている。このようなエンフォースメント強化策がカルテルや談合組織の安定性に対して与えた影響はほとんど見られなかった。その一方、公正取引委員会の探索コストの引き下げには一定の影響がみられることが明らかになった | |||||

| 内容記述 | I empirically investigate the effect of the enforcement of the Japanese competition policy on destabilizing cartels and reducing probe costs of JFTC. Through the natural experiment using the 2005 amendment of Antimonopoly Law, I find that increasing fines and introducing the leniency program does not have an impact on the weakening the influence of cartel groups. On the other hand, I show that this revision of the enforcement may contribute to the cost reduction of competition policy authority. | |||||
