| 内容記述 | Utoki was a daily journal kept by Shuko, the eleventh chief priest of the Shokoji Temple in Komatsu, during the year 1769. The journal is famous for the historical information it contains on Komatsu-jian-sodo. Utoki not only has important information about the Jodo Shin sect of Buddhism in the Edo period but also various stories that Shuko recorded that should capture the interest of researchers. It is our intention to introduce a reprinting of the entire text in several installments. We hope that researchers will use our reprint to deepen discussion on Komatsu-jian-sodo. | |||||
