The analysis helped her reflect on her communication, and she began to feel that she did not listen to her daughter during the analysis session. A week later, she reported that she started to experience watching herself ob­jectively during conversation with her daughter. This case suggested the efficacy of pragmatic videotape analysis on promoting her metacognition of communication and on improving her rela­tionship with her daughter.
