However, in Okinawa Japan, Adan culture is now disappearing due to the spread of plastics and other artificial materials. In the South Pacific, Adan is still used in daily life and expresses the craftsmanship and the traditional culture of the community. It is also one of the sources of cash income for the residents of these islands. The Adan Summit is an international conference that connects people in the Pacific Rim community by Adan culture. In last 3 rd conference in Okinawa Japan was held with four craftsperson invited from Vanuatu.
