| 内容記述 | Recently permanent ground displacement induced by soil liquefaction is pointed out as one of the most serious liquefaction hazards. The present paper firstly describes the characteristics of the liquefaction-induced permanent ground displacement using observation data during the 1983 Nipponkai-Chubu Earthquake. Relationships between the permanent ground displacement and ground slope, and width of deformed ground are illustrated. Secondly some experiments are carried out in order to clarify the characteristics and mechanism of the permanent ground displacement. It becomes evident from the present study that the width of the permanent ground displacement is one of the influential factors to the maximum value of the permanent ground displacement. Furthermore, a shape of the distribution of the permanent ground displacement is assumed to be a sinusoidal curve. | |||||
