(討議資料を作製し, 全国に配布した. )\n最近の幾何学は, 領域が広くなり, 他の数学の分野, 物理学との関連が日に日に密になっている. これを考慮して, 全国で7ケ所で, 小規模の研究集会を開いた. また, 名古屋大学で, 解析労, トポロジーとの関連を考えて, 「大域解析学」の研究集会を今年度も開いた. これは, 名古屋大学砂田利一と小生とで, 計画・実施した. これらの研究集会が刺激となって, 大学院生, 助手クラスの若い研究者の業績に見るべきものが多くなった.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Geometry has progressed rapidly since 10 years, that is, Geometry has been related to other branches of mathematics and physics. We had planed and worked as follows: (1) to hold meetings and conference in order to learn and study some new methods in Geometry, in particular, one of M. Gromov, (2) to hold meetings and conference in order to learn the method and philosophy of famous geometers in the world, in particular, A. Weinstein, S.-S. Chern, W.-Y. Hsiang and N. Mok.
