Effects of organic farming of rice cv. Koshihikari and Enkou 48 with Bokashi-fertilizer on the root system, bleeding sap, yield, yield components and grain quality were discussed. Koshihikari grown with the organic (Bokashi-Fertilizer) fertilizers showed a tendency to have a larger root dry weight rather than control. The values of grain eating quality in case of the organic farming system was lower than in control because of high protein content of the grains. Organic farming rice showed a good evaluation in the results of the sensory test after cooking.
