Numbers of devices distributed in wearable and ubiquitous environment requires stable power supply, communication channels, and flexibility of placement. There are two possible solutions for these problems; the wireless system and the wired system, but neither of them cannot satisfy these requirements perfectly. The wireless system has the problem of power supply method for devices, while the wired system has the restriction of physical placement for the complicated cables. In this paper, we propose the flexible network system, named as TextileNet, for wearable and ubiquitous computing systems that can solve these problems. TextileNet employs the wear whose both sides consist of low-resistance cloth as electrodes, and the power are supplied from a battery to the attached devices. The devices are attached on the wear by sticking the pin, and the devices can obtain both the power and communication channel by superposing of them on the conductive wear.
