The authors propose the column-parallel architecture for LoS detection image sensor to realize the high frame rate of 1,000[fps] and 640 x 480[pixels] resolution. An emulation system using a high speed camera and FPGA was developed for algorithm evaluation, operating at 1,000[fps] and succeeded to track saccade movement.
