The goal of this research was to develop a skill acquisition support system for the elderly to aid them in using unfamiliar IT products, particularly those of welfare systems. Here, behavioral preference is defined as the type of action sequences that people would prefer to adopt for completing unfamiliar tasks. To achieve this goal, this research investigated the action sequences of participants when they attempt to control the posture of an unfamiliar humanoid robot with an unfamiliar controller. The participants were assigned the task of making the humanoid stand on one foot. Machine-learning-based methods were presented for analyzing the behavioral preferences. The analysis results indicate that participants having behavioral preferences of adopting random action sequences can complete the task in a much shorter time, compared to participants having a behavioral preference of adopting action sequences similar to those of previous actions. © 2015 IEEE.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_4_description_22":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"37th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, EMBC 2015; MiCo Center, Milano Congressi CenterMilan; Italy; 25 August 2015 through 29 August 2015; Category numberCFP15EMB-ART; Code 116805","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_publisher_17":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc."}]},"item_4_relation_10":{"attribute_name":"ISBN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"978-142449271-8","subitem_relation_type_select":"ISBN"}}]},"item_4_relation_12":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isVersionOf","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"10.1109/EMBC.2015.7320148","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_4_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1557-170X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_4_version_type_25":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aa","subitem_version_type":"AM"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Takayama, Taiki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Watanabe, Tetsuyou"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{},{},{},{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-10-03"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"TE-PR-WATANABE-T-7586.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"587.5 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"TE-PR-WATANABE-T-7586.pdf","url":"https://kanazawa-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/9581/files/TE-PR-WATANABE-T-7586.pdf"},"version_id":"906fd61e-fde8-46d3-8dec-2ed1cd8b25f3"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"The effect of behavioral preferences on skill acquisition in determining unspecified, suitable action patterns to control humanoid robots","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"The effect of behavioral preferences on skill acquisition in determining unspecified, suitable action patterns to control humanoid robots"}]},"item_type_id":"4","owner":"3","path":["936"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2017-10-03"},"publish_date":"2017-10-03","publish_status":"0","recid":"9581","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["The effect of behavioral preferences on skill acquisition in determining unspecified, suitable action patterns to control humanoid robots"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-28T01:52:21.117978+00:00"}
