当大学で新規開発した骨親和性の高い新規プラチナ製剤を用い，薬剤耐性骨肉腫細胞株に対する抗腫瘍効果を明らかとした．また，シスプラチン抵抗性の骨肉腫患者の手術時に得られた検体から患者由来腫瘍同所移植マウスモデルを作成し，シスプラチン抵抗性が実験動物で再現されていることと，新規プラチナ製剤がこのシスプラチン抵抗性を超えて抗腫瘍効果を発揮することを明らかとした．
We have developed novel bone targeting platinum compound; 3Pt．This study revealed its strong anti tumor activity against cisplatinum-resistant osteosarcoma cell line. And also revealed that the 3Pt showed strong anti tumor activity against cisplatinum-resistant osteosarcoma patient derived orthotopic xenograft(PDOX) model.
